WakeUp Beaverton! School Supply Giveaway
WakeUp Beaverton! thrives in providing educational support services and distributional resources for BIPOC, immigrant and refugee, and underserved families. We believe that every child needs the tools to succeed in their education, which entails healthy food, physical exercise, school supplies, housing resources, educational tutoring, life experience training, after-school activities, and much more.
History
During the fall of 2018 WakeUp Beaverton! proposed a partnership with the City of Beaverton to support a public school giveaway to our local BIPOC and immigrant and refugee communities. Over the years, the need has grown, but so have our partnerships with other nonprofits and local businesses.
Beaverton has come together to provide success for our local communities of color. Every fall, WakeUp Beaverton! has a public giveaway event for the communities of Beaverton to receive resources and services with other community-based organizations to thrive and triumph.
